There isn’t much behind the new aesthetics other than this: I needed a change.
Eventually you get tired of looking at the same thing everyday. So you need to tweak it a bit. But I still wanted the blog to look classically pretty, with feminine elements and the thing that is slowly becoming my signature, the peacock feather.
As women, we need beautiful things to remind us why we’ve been dubbed the fairer sex. But we also need beautiful people and beautiful thoughts to nourish us emotionally. I’m the first to admit that a lovely dress and a killer pair of heels can do wonders, but I also know that they have their effect partly because I know I am loved. As Carrie Bradshaw once said, “Love is a label that never goes out of style.”
So here’s to everything that is timeless: iconic style, real friendship, and true love. May they always be part of my life ❤
